Volunteering

In the past week, we hosted a special delegation from 5 countries: Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Spain, and Brazil. The delegation, composed of Betar members and supporters of the movement, came to Israel to express support and volunteer during this difficult time.
For an entire week, delegation members volunteered in IDF kitchens, assisted with logistics, and worked in agriculture – experiencing a significant contribution to the war effort.
In the evenings, the delegation met with families of hostages, visited the south and the Gaza envelope, including Nova and Re’im, and deeply connected with the situation on the ground.
The reactions were emotional: two delegation members extended their stay in Israel to experience more of the country, while others are planning to make Aliyah following the visit.
The visit was originally planned as part of the movement’s 100th anniversary events but gained deeper meaning in the current circumstances. The delegation members proved that Betar will always be there for Israel – in good times and in difficult times.
We are proud of our friends from around the world for their solidarity, volunteer work, and unconditional support for Israel. Together, we will continue to strengthen the connection between the Diaspora Jewry and Israel and stand firm in the face of any challenge.
