The Betar World Leadership is the central co-ordinating body which connects the many Betar branches throughout the world. The World Leadership in the current period is striving, via its shlichim, and via the local leaderships throughout the Gola, to continue the united and determined campaign to maintain Jerusalem as the united and eternal capital of the Jewish People. Within the framework of this campaign, the World Leadership is organizing a wide variety of activities. Aliyah to Israel represents the fulfilment of the Betar idea in the Gola, and each year the movement absorbs hundreds of Olim, who go on to join the IDF and continue their activities in the movement in Israel.

Tel Chai! Betar Olami is proud to present the Help Haiti fundraising campaign that all the Zionist Youth Movements have joined together to run. In a global fundraising drive, we have partnered with Latet, a non-profit humanitarian charitable organization. All funds raised will go directly to emergency relief equipment and medications to Haiti. Latet's work in Haiti is coordinated with the Israeli Ministry for Foreign Affairs. We are not only helping Haitians with their tragedy, but uniting the Jewish world and presenting the world the Jewish values of the State of Israel. We believe that it is a Jewish duty to help the people of Haiti. We believe that the State of Israel is the representative of the Jewish People, and therefore must be involved in the relief effort. Please help us make this a reality. |
