The Betar Movement is a world Zionist youth movement founded 85 years ago by Ze'ev Jabotinsky. Betar members played important roles in the creation of Israel. Today the Betar Movement is active in many world branches and is involved in Jewish and Zionist activism.

Tel Chai!

Prior to the 36th World Zionist Congress, to be held in Jerusalem this June:
World Betar will be running an Israel Advocacy Seminar from Thursday the 10th of June to Sunday the 13th for all Betarim coming to Israel to attend the Congress.

The course is designed for Roshi Hanagot and for position holders in Betar and will include a range of speakers from Knesset members to Political Analysts.

The course and accommodation are free of charge.

We implore you to make the necessary arrangements to arrive in Israel in time to attend the seminar.

90 years have past since the heroic battle at Tel Chai.
 
We shall honor Yosef Trumpeldor and his comrades. Betar invites you  to the annual commemoration at Tel Chai.
 
Betar members will meet at Tel Chai at Yud-Alef Adar, February 25th 2010.
 
Buses are scheduled from the following locations:
06:30 Be'er Sheva
07:30 Jerusalem
07:30 Tel Aviv, Savidor central train station
08:30 Netanya, Bet Ze'ev, 5 Smilansky st.
09:30 Haifa
 
50 Shekels fee will be collected for the ride.

Betar Olami is proud to present the Help Haiti fundraising campaign that all the Zionist Youth Movements have joined together to run.

In a global fundraising drive, we have partnered with Latet, a non-profit humanitarian charitable organization. All funds raised will go directly to emergency relief equipment and medications to Haiti.  Latet's work in Haiti is coordinated with the Israeli Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

We are not only helping Haitians with their tragedy, but uniting the Jewish world and presenting the world the Jewish values of the State of Israel.

We believe that it is a Jewish duty to help the people of Haiti.

We believe that the State of Israel is the representative of the Jewish People, and therefore must be involved in the relief effort.
